Weird happenings.....

Well things seemed to be going good for about 2 days. Started my new job and thought that I was really going to like it. The hours were perfect for us with the one car and most of the people there were nice. Then as I was driving into work on Wed I got the call that changed my day. They decided that money wise things weren't going to work out and I wasn't going to be needed. Mind you I drove across the island 2 days in a row and used a half tank of gas only to be told "I wasn't needed". Is it me? What the hell is going on here? Come to find out I was hired by the person that wasn't the owner and he didn't agree to all the details and decided not to hire anyone at this time. Whatever. I have more interviews set up for places that are closer to home and hours that are still good. Who knows maybe something will turn up. Trying not to get frustrated. The "Aloha" lifestyle is a bit to laid back for this easy going gal!

On a brighter note Robb had his eye surgery today. Things went well. He is sleeping now and trying to close his eyes as much as possible. Follow up appointment on the 23rd to check the progress. According to my brother his eyes will still be adjusting for the next year. Thank the lord he had it done and can be my go to person for any questions we may have.

I will let you all know how the next interviews go. I may get to go to Guam in Sept after all.......which would be a good thing!
