Once again...

Hey all! Once again I have a job. Let's all hold our breath that this one lasts longer than 2 days. LOL I will be accounts receivables for Aloha Automotive Distributors. Basically they supply all the auto parts to the Ford dealers and Firestone type shops for the island. There are like 3 Ford dealers and lots of tire shops. Anyways the warehouse is like 2 miles from the house and I can walk to work. The hours will be from 8:30 to 5:30 M-F. I start on Monday and will be walking to work to see how I like it. If it isn't too hot then my 2 feet will be my mode of transportation. Robb will be able to pick me up in the afternoon. Works out better for us. Guess the loss of the other job was a blessing in disguise.

Robb's eye surgery went well. At the follow up they said he was progressing well. He is still seeing halos at night and sometimes it is hard to focus but it gets better in time. From what my brother says his eyes will still be adjusting for the next year. Took 5 years to get it done but we are glad it happened finally!

I have attached a pic of Robb singing Kareoke the other night. We have a restaurant/bar down the road called Ige's 19th Puka. Most of the patrons are locals so when they see 2 Houles (white folk) show up all eyes are on us. They are very welcoming and love to listen to Robb sing. Needless to say he may be the youngest one singing....LOL It is a lot of fun and he really enjoys it so that is all that matters. Oh and the song he was singing was "Chattahoochee" by Alan Jackson. He had to prove to me he knew some country!

There is also a pic of Kiki. She looked so sad the other day when we were leaving that a pic had to be taken. She loves to go for rides to the store so we take her a lot of the time.
