I hate waiting...

On Wed my best friend Sonia called with some bad news. The doctor's told her that she a brain tumor just smaller than a tennis ball on the right side. She is in surgery as I write this and I hate waiting to hear news. They say it can take up to 17 hours so I imagine it will be a long day. The wounded warrior program has set her parents up so they can be by her side. I feel guilty being here and not there to help take care of the girls. Bill has a lots of help from other family members which is good. Sonia was in good spirits last time I spoke to her and has a positive attitude. The first chance I get to go to DC I will be there.

Biggest lesson learned never take a day of your life for granted. Always pray and hold the lord close to your heart. He truly is the one that can get us all through anything.
