This is a pic of Kiki's trip to the beach a few weeks ago. Boy was it fun getting all the sand off her. She loves the water as long as she isn't getting a bath!
November has started out very wet here on the island. The rain has been with us since Halloween and not stopped. Forecast says that it will stay rainy until Friday. There have been lots of power outages, mudslides and floods. We are lucky though because our house is not close to any beaches or water. The flooding here has been minimal and the power has just flickered. I felt sorry for all the kids trick or treating. Not only was it raining there were accidents all over and traffic for miles. Took us 2.5 hours to go our normal 20 minutes from the commissary. Very crazy. It has cooled way down though so we have had the house opened up. Hopefully it will help us out on our next electric bill...LOL
Robb's parents are coming to visit this month. They arrive after Turkey day and will be here until Dec 12th. They will be here for the Honolulu Marathon on Dec 9th. I will have someone to keep me company.
Robb has been busy with school and work. He is trying to find the time to train for the marathon. 26 miles is a long way to go. I gotta give it to him for having the guts to do it. I for one would be done after the first few minutes! LOL Walking I can handle but not running.
Other than that not to much else going on. We will have lots of pics coming from the marathon and sight seeing with his parents. We will be going to a luau and all kinds of fun stuff. I think I am looking forward to seeing parts of the island we haven't seen yet. WOO HOO!
I am going to brag for a moment. My Mom was in her first art show this past week. Out of over 40 something pieces entered she was selected as one of the 28 to be displayed. She also sold her first piece in an auction! I am so proud of her. We all knew she was talented but now this proves it! WAY TO GO MOM!!! Oh and she had her pic on the local news website!

I'm glad you'll be getting some company there, I'm sure that will be fun to see more of the island. I can't wait to see photos..you better get busy with picasa or something:)
